My soul lures me, a curiosity pervades my mind
in quest of the mission God has put me here to find.
The road entices me forth, to wanderlust I acquiesce.
My search ends with beauty, nature, and a vast wilderness.
Deadly carelessness humans wage, devastation with no gain.
Animals and all living things in their pride they must remain.
This malady of destruction cannot permeate.
To halt, to teach, for life must not meet a finite fate.
My mission invades my heart, change this world and educate.
Lives, beliefs, must transform, so preservation becomes innate.
I begin my mission with such mighty schemes,
but life is fluid, it cascades and intervenes.
My days are seized by the great Supreme
and with me goes a now impossible dream.
I thought that I was only one, but beacons of hope shone from below.
Every dream and hope I thought was lost glistens with an afterglow.
My heart now soars where once it wept.
I find a promise was made and kept.
I bared my soul, my passion shared.
My dream stays alive by the one who cared.
My earthbound angel perceived my divine desire.
To take this world to infinity she does aspire.
She bestows me honor though in my grave.
To the world she imparts wisdom, but says this road was mine to pave.
She quotes, "Wildlife is an echo of our own beginnings."
I hear my voice, my thoughts, my words; I know now that we are winning.
